CASPer Preparation

Most Applicants Have Never Had a CASPer Answer Marked.

They have practiced. They have read model answers. But nobody has ever read what they wrote and told them what an examiner would see. That is the whole gap, and it is what this program closes.

The challenge

What Actually Goes Wrong on CASPer

Not judgment. Almost never judgment. It is what happens between having a reasonable thought and getting it onto the screen in under 2 minutes.

01

Writing to fill the box

Length is treated as the target, so the strongest sentence never gets written.

02

Answering the wrong question

The scenario is read once, and the reply addresses what it seemed to say.

03

One position, held too early

A conclusion is reached in the first line, and everything after it defends the conclusion.

04

Values instead of reasoning

Naming honesty, empathy, and professionalism is not the same as showing them at work.

05

Running out of clock

The second response is always the weakest, and nobody has practiced the second response.

06

No way to tell if it worked

Without marking, more practice only makes the existing habits faster.

Practice without correction is just rehearsal. You get better at doing exactly what you already do.

The program

What CASPer Preparation Includes

How much of it you need depends on where you are starting and how long you have. That is what the free strategy call establishes.

Practice

Realistic conditions

  • Full-length simulations that run the way the test runs
  • Time-pressure practice until the countdown stops changing your writing
  • Scenario sets that cover the categories applicants avoid
  • Typed and video responses, because that is the real exam format

Correction

Individual feedback

  • Personalized corrections on the responses you actually wrote
  • Reasoning frameworks for identifying the issue and weighing perspectives
  • Targeted training on the two or three habits costing you most
  • A rewrite of the same scenario, so you can see the change

Package options and pricing are covered on your free strategy call.

The loop

How a Round of Simulation and Feedback Runs

One round takes you from writing under pressure to seeing exactly what an examiner would notice. Then you do it again with the same scenario, and the difference is measurable.

01

Simulate

You sit a scenario set under test conditions, with the clock running.

02

Mark

A mentor reads your responses against what the task is really assessing.

03

Name it

The habit gets a name, so you can catch it happening next time.

04

Rewrite

You answer the same scenario again and compare the two side by side.

Fit

Who This Program Is For

One of these columns is a plan. The other is leaving this cycle to chance.

A good fit

This is for you if

  • You have practiced and cannot tell whether you are improving
  • You have been told your answers are “too generic” without being told why
  • You sat CASPer before and want a different result this cycle
  • Your written reasoning falls apart once the clock is running
  • The rest of your application is strong and this is the weak link
  • You do not want years of work behind this application to come down to a few unprepared minutes
  • You want to give yourself the best possible chance of getting accepted this year

Probably not yet

This may not be for you if

  • You are looking for answers to memorize rather than habits to change
  • You are not applying to a program that uses CASPer this cycle
  • You have no time at all before your test date — tell us and we will say so
  • You’re willing to leave your admission to chance

In their own words, from public Google reviews.

“Thanks to the very realistic simulations, personalized feedback, and dozens of exercises, I was finally able to reach the fourth quartile.”

Reached 4th quartile on CASPer

From a public Google review, translated from French.

“The CASPer simulation is so realistic and well constructed that it makes the real CASPer test seem like a joke.”

Questions

CASPer Questions

How many simulations do I need before my test?

Fewer than most people expect, if each one is marked. A simulation you never review teaches you almost nothing; a simulation you rewrite after feedback changes the next one. We would rather run a smaller number properly than sell you volume.

Do you use real CASPer questions?

No. Live test content is confidential and reproducing it would be improper. We write scenarios that put the same demands on you, which is what makes practice transfer.

I already sat CASPer and did badly. Is it worth trying again?

Often, yes, and a previous attempt is genuinely useful: it tells us how you write under pressure, which is normally the hardest thing to find out. Bring what you remember of it to the strategy call.

Can you promise a 4th-quartile result?

No, and nobody honestly can. Quartiles are assigned by the organization that administers the test, relative to everyone else sitting it. What we can do is remove the specific weaknesses that are holding your responses back, and tell you honestly how far along you are.

What does the free strategy call cover?

Where you are applying, where you are in your preparation, and what we think your biggest opportunities for improvement are. If we are a good fit we will recommend a level of support. There is no obligation.
